From the original hexagonal pattern
the connecting points were shifted
away from a parallel connection into
attaching the corners.


The horizontal lines of the pattern
were rotated ±20 degrees.



Adjusting the pattern to the new rotated lines.



The rotation of the lines at 90 degrees
created the third axis to create a 3d model.
